If you email me

I receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message. I use this to reply to you, discuss your enquiry, and, if we work together, manage that work. I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or on taking steps you ask for before agreeing a project.

My email provider processes these messages to deliver and store them. I keep correspondence while it is needed to deal with your enquiry or our work, and longer only where needed for records or legal obligations. I review old enquiries and delete those I no longer need.
